Vespas and Roses
Yesterday was our third year anniversary, and Lee told me he was going to make me the most delicious chili ever, and if I could please be so awesome as to pick up some beer on the way home from work.
I get home juggling my purse, my lunch box, the mail, and a bag filled with beer, and make an attempt to open the door.
About three minutes later I walked the rest of the way into the house to take a closer look at the Vespa that was sitting in the middle of our living room. It’s passengers were a dozen red roses, a key with a big red ribbon on it, and a card signed from The Beatles wishing us a happy anniversary and enticing me to say yes.
Of course, I knew what this meant, because for about two years he kept insisting that a Vespa was far more useful than an engagement ring. And before you ask, yes, there is a ring. I am currently wearing my Grandmother Allen’s engagement ring. (Yellow gold .25ct old mine cut diamond, if you were wondering.)
The rest of the photos he took are over here.

YAY! Congratulations that’s one of the best proposals I’ve ever heard, I just got engaged myself and that beats the crap out of how I asked my lady to marry me (^_^). Sending good thoughts for your future-
