Grocery Q & A

  1. the point is, most of it got in her mouth

I have a story sort of like that with the word “douche.” I was at work, at the temp office, and I called one of the guys I worked with a douche. One of the black girls laughed, like really loud, and asked what a ‘douche’ was. She’d never heard anyone called that before.

Hahaha to random people and their stupidity.

Gotta love the expressions you draw. :)

Nobody really says douchebag where I live but we have our own equivalents. Most don’t actually make sense in any language except ‘mochyn’ which means pig.

I recall my best use of the word “douche”; it was when I phoned in to say I was quitting.

Me: “So, I don’t mean to be a douche, but…i’m quitting.”
    Supervisor: “Yeah, I kind’ve figured.”
Me: “Alright. Um…*Awkward silence* I’ll talk to you…later, or not?”
Supervisor: “Sure. Good luck with life, and all!”
    *Click*
Supervisor, after phone call: “He just said a bad word!”
    Co-worker: “What?”
Supervisor: “He called himself a douche!”

She was around sixty or so. How was I to know she’d get offended? XD

My personal favorite is “douchenozzle.” As in, “ignore him, he’s being a douchenozzle.” It’s good times.

I love your comic, by the way, and hope you keep going with it. I, as a woman who just turned 31, but still think of myself as much, much younger, can totally relate to so many things in your stories. Keep up the good work!
